Nebamun, aka Gregory Duff Collingsworth, was made circa 4000 BC and is one of the oldest vampires at roughly 6000 years old. Nebamun has long dark wavy hair and a long dark beard that is neatly shaped. He shaves his beard each evening upon rising and trims his hair short. He sleeps out in the sunlight to keep his skin dark, so he can continue to pass easily as a mortal still.

Nebamun was from Ninevah, and was in Queen Akasha's Special Guard, as a mortal. She chose him as a lover, a dangerous thing at that time, as the King was a jealous man of the Queen's lovers and often they were killed when she lost interest in them. Nebamun was the 4th made vampire by Queen Akasha and she gave him the title Captain of the Queen's Blood troops. Queen's Blood were those vampires made exclusively by the Queen to wage war against the First Brood, those vampires made by Makare, Maharet, and Khayman. Nebamun was Captain of the Queen's Blood for over a thousand years. Eventually he became despondent and bored with the endless violence in the unchanging ancient world. After meeting one last time with his brother in the Queen's Blood, Gundesanth, Nebamun went underground and slept until the third century of the common era.

When he awoke he took the name Gregory Duff Collingsworth. He met a mortal woman named Chrysanthe and she taught him of the modern life in the third century AD. He made her into a vampire and refers to her as his Blood Spouse. Through the centuries Gregory collects other blood drinkers into his family and home and calls them his blood kin.

Gregory is fascinated with businesses and creating a foothold in the mortal world. Over the millinium he creates many businesses, building each one up to great success before starting a new one.

In the modern era Gregory is a very prominent business tycoon, owner of a powerful pharmaceutical empire by the name of Collingsworth Pharmaceuticals. Gregory is also a closely trusted advisor to Prince Lestat and the Court.
